Dombrés with every sauce: dombré with prawns, with chicken, with lambi, or vegetarian… each recipe is an invitation to discover — or rediscover — this historic dish in all its variations. With its soft texture, its distinctive round shape and its sheer heartiness, the Domb’ox dombré wins everyone over.
On the Flavours of Old menu: chicken colombo, prawn dombrés, christophine gratin, plantain gratin.
The food stop takes place on Domb’Ox's premises in Fort-de-France: 1 hr 30 min of tasting, good company and lunch, for a group of 15 people maximum, on Saturdays from 9am to 12pm.
Conceived as a return to the source, Domb’ox sits in a setting decorated with nods to Antan lontan, the old days. The smells of childhood, Creole colours, the pots and pans of another time… for a complete sensory experience.
Domb’ox is not just a takeaway dish. It is a declaration of love to our traditions, a tribute to our forebears, a food stop for anyone who wants to experience Martinique on a plate.
